Fabric and Ribbon Wreaths

Here are some holiday ribbon wreaths that I made.  This is a new style wreath for me and one that I will be doing plenty of in the future.  These are especially fun because I get to work with all the pretty ribbon I can you see, the possibilities are endless because throughout the entire year there is so much pretty ribbon to choose from.  There is fabric used in some of the wreaths also...another medium to work with that is also fun!!!  Hope you enjoy them..Until next time.....Happy Crafting!!!

Sunflower Deco Mesh Wreath

The newest rage in deco mesh wreath is making a sunflower.  You can actually make any type of flower you like....I have seen one person take white deco mesh and make hers into a daisy.  This is by far one of my most favorite wreaths I have made.  A lot of people use paper mesh to make this wreath, however; I used poly just is a combination of deco mesh with burlap woven into it...I think it makes the wreath more pliable and will last longer if you are hanging it outside.  I know it is a little hard to see but there is some green in this wreath for the leaves.  The center I chose was a beautiful flower that I bought at Michael's and I think it really set this wreath apart from others I have seen.  I just like the way this turned out and I can't wait to make more....Until next time....Happy Crafting!!!

New Blog Look.....again!!

I can't believe it has been over a month since I last posted.  I really need to post more often so I promise I will try to do a better job at that.  I do have a few items I am working on and I hope to have them ready shortly.  As you can see I have changed the look of the blog again.  I try to use free templates if they are available because I really don't have the money right now to pay anyone to do a blog design for me. I do hope to remedy that in the near future. The design I had previously was perfect for this but it was changed from a free template to a premade one and I can't do that just now.  I do hope you like this new one just as well. I think it is kind of pretty so I hope it serves the immediate purpose for me.  If you notice I also have a link to my facebook page on the right side bar.  If you are visiting here please click on the badge and hop on over and say "hi".  Please like the page, leave a comment and I will be sure to return the like to you....If this is your first time visiting here, please leave a comment to let me know you stopped by.  Until next time....Happy Crafting!!!

Jungle Theme Diaper Cake

A few months ago I went to a baby shower. I made the mommy to be a diaper cake for their new little bundle of joy. The theme of the shower was jungle so I kept with that theme in making the diaper cake.  I think it turned out really cute...what do you think?  Until next time....Happy Crafting!!!
